On July 10, 2023, an Accommodation Standard Inspection revealed that Hardisty Care Centre was non-compliant with the standard requiring a clean and comfortable environment (Sub-Standard 15.1).

🔍  November 2022

On November 29, 2022, a CCHSS audit at Hardisty Care Centre identified multiple areas of non-compliance, including documentation for restraint use (Sub-Standard 16.3), medication management policies and procedures (Sub-Standard 15.1), infection prevention and control policies (Sub-Standard 12.1), and several other standards related to care and safety (Sub-Standards 11.1, 10.1, 8.1, and 5.3).

🔍  February 2022

On February 3, 2022, a CMOH inspection and Accommodation Standard inspection were conducted. The facility was found non-compliant in several areas, including enhanced cleaning (Sub-Standard 1.5), entry screening processes (Sub-Standard 1.1), protection of information and privacy (Sub-Standard 27.1), and ensuring that accommodation is in a safe condition (Sub-Standard 2.1). Another CMOH inspection on February 10, 2022, found the facility compliant.

✅  September 2021

On September 1 and 9, 2021, Public Health conducted a CMOH inspection and a Quality Monitoring Visit at Hardisty Care Centre, respectively. Both inspections found the facility compliant with the relevant standards.

🔍  January 2021

On January 27, 2021, a CMOH inspection identified non-compliance in areas such as personal protective equipment (Sub-Standard 1.2), visitation (Sub-Standard 1.8), and enhanced cleaning (Sub-Standard 1.5).

On December 22, 2020, a Public Health Quality Monitoring Visit was conducted at Hardisty Care Centre, with the facility found to be compliant.

On August 28, 2020, a Quality Monitoring Visit by Public Health revealed non-compliance in outbreak prevention and management, as well as the use of personal protective equipment.

🔍  May 2020

On May 21, 2020, a CMOH inspection identified non-compliance in enhanced cleaning (Sub-Standard 1.5) and shared spaces (Sub-Standard 1.4).

🔍  December 2019

On December 13, 2019, an RFCA inspection found the facility non-compliant with the requirement to provide inspection results (Sub-Standard 5.l). However, the Accommodation Standard inspection found the facility compliant.

🔍  March 2018

On March 20, 2018, a CCHSS audit revealed extensive non-compliance at Hardisty Care Centre. Issues were found in multiple areas, including restraint use documentation (Sub-Standard 16.3), medication management (Sub-Standard 15.1), infection prevention and control (Sub-Standard 12.1), and other care-related standards.

On December 15, 2016, an Accommodation Standard Inspection identified non-compliance in therapeutic tub temperature checks (Sub-Standard 21.4), training and risk mitigation for safe water temperatures (Sub-Standard 21.2), and the suitability and maintenance of the communication/emergency call system (Sub-Standard 18.3).

✅  December 2015

On December 16, 2015, an Accommodation Standard Inspection was carried out at Hardisty Care Centre. The facility met all compliance requirements.

✅  November 2014

On November 27, 2014, an Accommodation Standard Inspection found Hardisty Care Centre fully compliant with the required standards.

🔍  December 2013

On December 17, 2013, an Accommodation Standard Complaint Investigation found Hardisty Care Centre non-compliant in maintaining and inspecting the communication/emergency call system (Sub-Standard 18.3).

On December 6, 2013, an Accommodation Standard Inspection at Hardisty Care Centre determined that the facility was compliant with all applicable standards.
